It’s the day after Christmas here. It’s so nice to have the day off and not back on schedule, but it’s also time to get some movement in. Working up a sweat and getting in a workout feels so good after all of the indulging. It doesn’t have to be fancy and it can be done right in your very own home. If you are looking or some motivation or simply want someone to give you a plan, here it is.
Go put on your shoes and some comfy clothes. If you have dumbells at home, go grab them. If not we can improvise. Grab some paper plates from your kitchen, but stay away from the chocolate cake that is still sitting out . . .
THE DAY AFTER WORKOUT!
3 Rounds of Each Set
20 mountain climbers on gliders
20 squat with overhead press
20 squat jumps
20 kickbox kicks (each side)
20 push ups
15 Double Knees In with Gliders (begin in push up position with hands under shoulders and toes on gliders. Engage your core, keep back flat and pull your knees into your chest)
20 Tricep kick backs
20 plie’ squats with upright row
20 weighted jumping jacks
15 Plank Jacks on Gliders (begin in push up position with hands under shoulders and toes on gliders, feet together, core engaged. Slide feet apart and back together)
Cool Down and Stretch!
You’ll feel so much better now!
