It’s Monday. For some that means the end of a weekend of overindulging. It may be a normal Monday morning after a weekend or it may be a Monday after celebrating Easter with family, friends, easter candy, jellybeans, and a wonderful Easter meal.
If all the fun has you feeling a little bloated and sluggish today, here are a few things to help get your body to feeling its best.
Say NO to the sugar. Get out of your child’s candy, stay away from the cookies and any leftover desserts, casseroles, mac and cheese . . .
Eat your vegetables! Fuel your body with fresh foods, fruits and lean proteins. Here are some of the things I like to have on hand after enjoying a little or a lot of those treat foods.
A GREEN SMOOTHIE to start things off and get greens and fiber into the body.
MY GO TO GREEN DRINK
In a blender put the following:
Handful of Ice
1 scoop of Vanilla Whey Protein Powder (sometimes I make it without the protein for a refreshing start to the day)
1/4 Cup Fresh Pineapple
Handful of Kale, Spinach, Both or other Greens
About 1 Cup of Almond Milk, Coconut Milk, Coconut water or water
Blend and Enjoy!
A VEGGIE SALAD is a great lunch with lots of crunchy vegetables, more fiber and water based plants to make you feel full.

Then, for dinner, an easy option is FISH AND VEGETABLES IN FOIL PACKET for dinner. This is a wonderful, light meal with lean protein and whatever vegetables you have on hand.

DRINK LOTS OF WATER and if you reach for a snack, make it nuts, seeds, hummus with vegetables, or a little nut butter with sliced apple.
And, of course, try to get in a sweat today!
