A week is a long time to be away from a gym. (and my computer! Glad to be back!) A really long time. It was a nice change to get outside and hike trails and run hills, but then the rain came. And sat. And sat. So much rain our lake closed. I’ve never heard of a lake being closed. When we were so sopped in I was glad I had a yoga mat and exercise ball to keep me busy. Honestly, that only goes so far, though, as nothing beats a good workout with a good sweat. Back in town yesterday I hit the gym and this is some of what I did. It felt really good!
Our 4th of July Celebration was moved indoors and the fireworks postponed. We had our own fireworks in the rain and our family still managed to eat, drink and be merry and celebrate being together, being in a beautiful place and being blessed to live in our beautiful country.
Back at home, the rain is back today. Sigh.
On the bright side, another opportunity to come up with another fun gym workout!
