Easter has snuck up on me this year. I am not used to celebrating in March so I am feeling a little rushed to begin preparing for one of my favorite days of the year.
Thinking about past Easters I couldn’t help but go through some of our old photos . . .
My how things change . . . Doubt I could get these guys into matching anything these days!
I have gotten a request or two for certain foods for the meal and am happy to oblige. Rather than purchasing an already prepared ham, here is one of my favorite recipes.
This recipe is one of Trisha Yearwood’s and screams all things Southern. It is easy, moist and delicious. The leftovers are even better!
Some of my favorite Easter recipes have been posted here so if you are interested, check them out!
You can also look HERE to see that you are never too old to hunt for Easter Eggs!
And one of our favorite days when the boys were little was the Egg Pick Up at our church (because the eggs were basically scattered all over the grass – there was absolutely no hiding) .
I love reliving those fun days with the boys!
What are you planning for your Easter or Passover celebration? Tried and true recipes or something new? What do you stuff your eggs with? My boys are known to still hunt if money is involved!
Enjoy Your Day!
